A Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Hello everyone. I know that today is the 19th of January and Christmas and the time for New Year celebrations have well and truly passed. Christmas decorations have long since been taken down and work is back in full swing. I may have taken this holiday thing a little too seriously. My hiatus from blogging (etcetera) has gone on long enough.

So, now I’m back with plenty of exciting posts lined up. While I may have been on holidays from blogging, I definitely haven’t been on holidays from eating. I’ve been cooking up several storms and been trying many a new exciting venue. Recipes and reviews are coming soon. I’ve also had my head in a bunch of new (and old) cookbooks that I can’t wait to tell you about.

In the meantime, here’s some snapshots of the food of my Christmas:

Forgot to take photos of the dessert, but my mum made a delicious tropical cake and I made coconut panna cotta with lime and mint granita. Om nom.

P.S This was my view on New Year’s Eve. Spectacular!

I hope your holiday seasons were filled with just as much joy, food and beverages.
